It was the .last regular meeting of the season. President Emma Jacobson was in charge Miss Dona Salisbury in an especially espe-cially pleasing manner reviewed the play "Camille" which was proceeded pro-ceeded with a delicious luncheon served at five small tables. S. school of nurses, according accord-ing to word received here. Miss Hadley was president of the junior class last year. She has one more year in training. SERVICES FOR MRS. PROTHERO Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie May Harrison Prothero, wife of Jesse W. Prothero, who died Saturday, Sat-urday, were' held in the Sixth ward chapel Thursday afternoon. Terry Oldroyd of the bishopric was in charge. A vocal solo, "Abide by Me," was rendered by Mrs. Sarah Ramsey, accompanied by Mrs. Vera Peterson, and prayer pray-er was offered by Dresden Miller. "O Dry Those Tears 'was sung by Miss Marguerite Jepperson, with Miss Viola Spurrier at the piano. Remarks were made by J. W. McAdam and Joseph Buttle, and Mrs. Eva Heal sang "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose." Bishop Herald R. Clark spoke, and "Perfect "Per-fect Day" was sung by Mrs. Ramsey. Ram-sey. John Giles offered the benediction bene-diction ,the grave . at the Provo city cemetery was dedicated by E. W. Redmond of Eureka. The services were well attended and the flowers were beautiful. Socials Held For Former Provoan Miss Ida Clark of Salt Lake City, formerly of Provo, who is to be wed to Louis Bowers of Salt Lake, Wednesday in the Salt Lake temple, was Honored at a shower given by her cousin, Miss Gladys Groneman Friday evening at her home in Provo. Twenty-five guests were in attendance at-tendance and during-the evening of games, Mrs. Melva Peay gave a reading, and piano numbers were played by Mrs. Helen L. Nelson. A delicious luncheon was served and lovely gifts were presented pre-sented to the bride-to-be. Mrs. George Groneman tendered tender-ed her niece a shower Friday afternoon, 50 relatives and friends being present. Several social so-cial functions in her honor were given previous to her leaving. Mrs. Mary Higginson entertained at dinner in her honor Wednesday. The other guests were the members mem-bers of the Warner family. Mrs. Dean Stone was the guest of honor at a weiner roast given by a group of girl friends at Cas-tella Cas-tella Springs Monday evening. Mrs. Joseph Brown entertained at a pleasant afternoon function Tuesday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Dean Stone. The guests included in-cluded Mrs. Stone, Mrs. Eleanor Jarvis, Mrs. Winfield Jarvis, Mrs. Robert Lewis, Mrs. Mary Higginson, Higgin-son, Eunice and Fern Warner, Mrs. Buss Jensen and Mrs. Ross Beck. Other guests were a group of girl friends of Mrs. Stone. Mrs. Ruth Williams and Miss Pat Bowen entertained at a shower show-er at the latter's home Monday evening. Bridge was the main diversion and luncheon was served at the card tables. A color scheme in pink and white was carried out, pink rosebuds -forming the centerpiece center-piece of each table.
