Brickers, held Friday evening at Memorial hall in Springville. The Erickson and Blackwell orchestra or-chestra furnished the music, and at intermission, two novelty dance numbers were furnished by Tess Packard and Shirl Swenson. One hundred and fifty couples, including includ-ing members, guests and their partners, attended the gay affair, Joe Swenson v and Oakley Evans were co-chairmen on arrangements. Bennett, parents of the bride-elect. Mr. Jacobs, is a son of Mrs. Emma Jacobs of Provo. The marriage is to be an event of early June. Miss Bennett is a graduate of the B. Y. U. and has been teaching school in Arizona for the past two years. ,She is affiliated with the Val Norns and is prominent prom-inent in music circle here. Mr. Jacobs will graduate from the U of U. this spring, and following their marriage, mar-riage, the, couple will leave for Chicago where Mr. Jacobs will attend Rush Medical college. He is a former "Y" student, and was a member of the Viking social unit He fulfilled a mission in Germany and is a member of the Delta Phi . missionary fraternity. B.P.W. Reinsch, who is leaving soon to reside in Salt Lake City was the honor guest on this occasion, and in behalf of the circle, Miss Nora Redfield, president, presented Mrs. Reinsch with a handsome set of crystal goblets . Marshmallows were toasted and games and music were featured around the huge bonfire. Trousseau Tea Proves Smart Function Birthday Surprise Party Enjoyable Mrs. Alex Mortensen was delightfully de-lightfully surprised by a group of friends at her home Friday evening, eve-ning, in celebration of her birthday birth-day anniversary which occurred Thursday. A delicious 7 o'clock dinner was followed by bridge, Mrs. Roy Boshard and Guy Christensen receiving re-ceiving the high score prizes and the consolation tavor going to Mrs. Christensen'. In attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. Sharp Gillespie, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boshard, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Christensen Chris-tensen and Mr. and Mrs. Emil K. Nielsen. An attractive and interesting trousseau tea was given by Mrs. J. W. Dangerfield Saturday afternoon after-noon at her home, in honor of her daughter, Grace. The hostess and bride-to-be were assisted in receiving by Miss Mildred Mil-dred Dixon, Mrs. A. C. McConachie and Mrs. Laban Harding. Spring flowers in profusion were employed in decorating the reception recep-tion rooms, and the tea table was artistic with an imported lace cover and a centerpiece of pink roses and syringa in a handsome silver bowl. Ivory princess tapers were in silver holders. Miss Gwen Nelson was in charge of the dining room, and the table was presided over by the Misses Ila Brockbank, Mary Dahlquist, Ruth Harding and Goldie Spencer. They were assisted in serving by: Lucile Skinner, Mae Seaton, Allie Bowen, Naomi Beardall, Fern Smobt, Dorothy O. Rea, Norma Dixon and Vera Dixon. Two hundred guests called between be-tween the hours of 3 and 6 o'clock and the trousseau display was one of the most complete and elaborate shown this season.
