EFFTE DART Correspondent PHONE 168 A pleasant family gathering was held Thursday of last week at the home of Erastus Otteson at Palmyra, Pal-myra, the occasion being the sixtieth six-tieth anniversary of Mr. Otteson's birth. A well arranged dinner was served at 2 p. m. covers being laid for the guest of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Otteson, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Halvorsen and daughter, Fern, Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. James Sorenson Jr., Mrs. Mary Otteson and daughter, Betty, Mrs. Andrew Halvorsen and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Halvorsen Jr. and three children, all of Palmyra; Dr. and Mrs. Lester Otteson and three children of Springville. The dinner was served by Mrs. Mary Peterson. The remainder of the time was spent in a social way. Honoring her granddaughter, -Miss Rosetta Flavel who was here from Richfield, Idaho, for a ten days' visit, Mrs. Rosetta Flavel entertained at dinner Thursday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Chester Johnson and Glen Johnson of Richfield, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Williams and daughter, Jane B. Dinner was served at 6 ;30. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Johnson Provo Animals In Ogden Stock Show Fifteen head of pure-bred heifers heif-ers left Provo Thursday headed for the Ogden Livestock show ag an entry of the 4-H clubs of Utah county. There were also entries of pure-bred Hampshire sheep and hogs. The 4-H livestock judging team of Springville has gone to the. show to compete. Cattle for the 4-H club exhibit- ion come from Salem, Springville, Provo, Manila and Lehi. and sons, Glen and Fred and daughter Melba and Miss Rosetta Flavel all of Richfield, Idaho, visited with relatives at Eurekar Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Thomas entertained en-tertained as luncheon guests at midnight Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bowen, Mrs. Rosetta Flavel and Miss Rosetta Flavel, the latter of Richfield. The time was spent listening in to a radio program.
