Girls Jamboree Is Gay Event A delightful event of the week was the Provo high school girls' jamboree, held Thursday evening in tlu- .school gym. The junior girls were hostesses and the gay affair was in thd form of a "kids" party. Emma Zabriskie was chairman on arrangements, ar-rangements, and was assisted by Myrtle Tanner, Dorothy McGuire, Venire Tuft and Virginia Hunter. Prizes for the best costumes we're awarded as follows: Mar-joiie Mar-joiie Menael, as "Percy"; Dee Leatham, "Tom Sawyer"; Venice Cottam and Edna feimpson. "Two little Culs in Blue,,' group prize "The Family," Geraldine Michael, Shirley Weight, Erma Carter, Vera Carter and Wanda' McBride. Mrs. Orea B. Tanner, Miss Zelma Winterton, Miss Ora Haws, Miss Eunice Bird and Mrs. J. C. Moffitt were the judges. Several clever games were led by Miss Leona Gibbons.
