Vonda was a dear spirit who lived life to the fullest as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her-immediate Her-immediate genealogy included three children, 1 1 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. To the very day of death she exemplified a Christ-like benevolence to all she touched. She was an angel on earth and will become an a angel in Heaven, a true soldier of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a lifetime and very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had many responsibilities. Vonda was preceded in death , by father, Fredrick Wall; mother, Jessie Massey Wall; and husband, ; Herbert Guy Taylor Sr. Those members of her immediate fam- Arthur Wooley Arthur (Art) Woolery of Los Angeles, Calif., died Feb. 9, 2008 after a long battle with liver ; disease and diabetes. He was born the second oldest of five children to Arlo A. and Stella Veona (McCurdy) Wooley. He grew up and attended school in Rangely, Colorado. He enlisted and served his country in the , Marine Corps. He moved to California and worked for a dairy, on a milk ; route for years, then worked as an electrician for a college until , his recent retirement. After moving to California he met and married Kathy McCar- . thy, they later divorced. Mother will be buried in El Paso, Texas, beside her husband where they lived for 31 years memorabilia. He loved to travel to Mexico, to fish, with his best friend Jeff. He will be missed by his family and friends. ' He was preceded in death by father, Arlo A. Wooley. He is survived sur-vived by mother, Stella Wooley, Rifle, Colo.; sisters and their husbands, Arloa and Churck White RV travelers; Connie and Bill Bankster, RV travelers; and Gwen and Les Wilson Pasco, Wa; a brother and his wife, Leon and Jennifer Wooley, Rifle, Colo.; former wife, Kathy; daughters, Amanda Marie, Ann Marie; and granddaughter; Haley, all of Los Angeles, Calif. He was honored with a Memorial Me-morial at the Gates Mortuary in Culver City, Calif. He was cremated and his ashes will be returned and buried with his father in Vernal at a later date. Robert was born Jan. 19, 1973 in Murray son of Gary Rex and Sonja Rae Schorr Buys. ' ' Robert graduated from Jordan Jor-dan High School in 1991 where he was on the swim team and was a Sterling Scholar in Art. Following graduation he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Louisville, Ky. He enjoyed creating creat-ing stained glass and sculptures and was exceptionally good at it. He married Kim Meyers and they had five children; later divorced. He married Jessica Aldredge and later divorced. He married Megan Hall in 2008 and they had two sons. They resided in Vernal, where he was employed by Craig's Roustabout Sen-ice. He is survived by wife, Megan; children, Anthony, Johnathan, Elizabeth, Brianna, Zachary, Lijiah and Jacob Buys; parents of Murray; parents-in-law, Clark D. Patrick Lopez Patrick Henry Lopez, a?e 90, of Vernal, passed away March 3 1 , 2008 at his home. He was born in Vernal on Jan. 1, 1918 to Patrick B. Lopez and Frances Trujillo Lopez. He married Wanda Rae At-wood At-wood Jan. 20, 1945 in Vernal. Patrick worked at the American Ameri-can Gilsonite Mine for more than 38 years. He served in the U.S. Army as master sergeant during World War II. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, being be-ing outdoors, playing with his grandkids and just being with his family. He was a member of the LDS church. Patrick is survived by his wife of over 63 years, Wanda Rae Atwood Lopez; son, Troy (Gayla) Lopez of Vernal; daughter, daugh-ter, Patsy (Weston) Serrano of Vernal; five grandchildren, five nririnlfnr nmvi J ASPEN BROOK REALTY INC. He is preceded in death by parents, seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be on April 3 at 11 a.m. in the Davis 4th Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with military honors by the American Legion Posts 1 1 and 124. Services under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. , Zach Johnson Zachery Ryan Johnson infant son of Rand and Stephanie Oost-veen Oost-veen Johnson was born Feb. 11, 2008 in Salt Lake City. He was born with a heart condition known as hypo-plastic left heart syndrome. He was later added to the heart transplant list. He fought hard for five long weeks and endured many surgeries. surger-ies. Then, on March 18, 2008 he passed away from complications of his heart condition. He leaves behind his parents; a sister, Kyla; and a brother, RJ. He also leaves behind his grandparents, grand-parents, Bob and Darlene Oost-veen; Oost-veen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is proceeded in death by grandparents, Rand and Dorthy Johnson. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. "WKf Marlcne Miller, Bob and Carey I leihnan and Family Y V Dale Lee Dale Lee, 61, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 21, 2008, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab. Dale was born in Vernal on July 31,1946, the sixth son of Glenn and Marie Lee. His five brothers were generally good to him and he idolized them , because of the athletics they were involved with. Dale grew up in Vernal and married Patsy Ann Colobella in May 1964. They had one daughter, Cindy Rae Lee. They were divorced in 1966. He married his dear, loving lov-ing Sharron Lea Sharp Feb. 18, 1967. She stood by him through "thick and thin", good and bad times. Sharron was always there for him. Sharron was his wife, friend and lover. They had two wonderful and diverse children, Tracey Dickerson and Benjamin Lee. Dale joined the U.S. Army in March 1966 and became a Special Forces "Green Beret" and served in Vietnam. During his time on earth he was always proud of his accomplishments as a Green Beret. Vietnam did rule his life though. Dale worked most of his life in the oil fields. He started in the summer of 1962 and other than the three-year Army stint and a short tour of working in Southern California he worked over 40 years in the "patch," as they call it, retiring as a nuclear safety officer. Most of that time he was in the employ of Hal- Clarence Jackson Clarence Edwin (Jack) Jackson Jack-son died at the age of 74, at his home surrounded by his family, on March 24 from complications of cancer. Jack wasborn March 28, 1933 to Clarence Calloway Jackson, and Velma Louise Tucker in Durango, Colo. He met Adell LaVonne (Terri). Morris in 1953 and married her Sept. 16, 1954. Jack joined the U.S. Army and served time in Germany, France and stateside. After his discharge, he went to work for El Paso Natural Gas as an operator. opera-tor. He spent most of his years working for Northwest Pipeline and Williams Co. as a senior operator. While employed with them, he lived in Durango, Colo. ; Bayfield, Colo.; Rangely, Colo.; and Piceance Creek, Colo. - 'After-tiretoing' tioVemeil in 1 993yJaek was employed by -Wal-Mart as a door greeter. Jack was always the socialite and always had a friendly smile and nice word to pass on to others. He will be deeply missed. Jack was preceded in death by mother; father; and wife, Terri. Jack is survived by sisters, Darlene Scheffer of Wichita, Maggie Graves On Saturday, March 15, 2008, Maggie Ellen Graves, was called home to be with the Lord. She was reunited in heaven with by many loved ones, her father, Victor J. Krauser; son, Jimmy Schanen Jr.; grandmother, grandmoth-er, several aunts and uncles. Maggie was blessed in many ways and led an adventurous life. She shared her life with her husband, soul mate and best friend, Cliff, between Corpus Christi, Texas and Vernal. There Maggie changed the lives of many people. Maggie's adventures include skydiving, tubing and traveling. She was a graduate of Clown School and enjoyed entertaining people. She volunteered her life to us, to care for us, with no questions asked. We will never be able to live up to or repay what she did for all of us. She blessed us with her life here. Our family is grateful grate-ful for the time we had with our Maggie. She will forever be in our hearts and we will miss her greatly. God took his guardian angel to to help him.
