A reception was held that evening eve-ning in West Jordan. An open house will be held Saturday, August 19 at the Vernal 2nd Ward Chapel, 235 East 600 South, from 5 to 7 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Sandy Walker of West Jordan. She graduated from Copper Hills High School and attended Snow College. She is currently employed Heather Sumner Sumner and Kemp to marry Friday;, August 18 Heather Sumner and Travis Kemp have chosen to be married mar-ried on Friday, August 18, 2006. There will be a reception recep-tion that evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the "Emerald Garden Reception Center" located at 2227 West Hwy. 40 in Ballard, (the old Cow Palace). If anyone was overlooked, please come join the celebration. The bride graduated from Union High School. She works Bryan Sullivan with Joann's in Orem. The groom is the son of Eric and Janice Sullivan, formerly of Vernal, now of Orem. He graduated from Uintah High School in 2001. He attended Snow College and is currently current-ly attending BYU. He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Brazil Maceio Mission. The couple will make their home in Provo. and Travis Kemp three jobs in Roosevelt. The groom graduated from Uintah High School in 2001. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California San Francisco Mission. My Vernal Michel) Winder Winder and Howell to wed in Salt Lake Temple Michelle Winder and Blake Daniel Howell have chosen to be married Friday, August 18, 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. The bride is the daughter of Ken and Kareen Winder of Roosevelt. She graduated from Union High School and is attending UVSC, working towards a degree in Hospitality Management. She served a mission mis-sion for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. High school student achieves national award Erica Davis, of Tridell received a United States National Award in Agriculture. The award was presented by the United States Achievement Academy. The academy only recognizes about ten percent of all high schools, so this award is an incredible achievement. Erica, who attends Uintah High School, was nominated by David Wilson, a teacher at the school. Erica is the daughter of Dave Davis and Pam Hansen.
