Dad and Teddy would have been lost without each other. Teddy passed away one week before Dad. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park with military honors hon-ors by American Legion Posts 1 24 and 11. you will get back to normal nil Iff ' ' J ?v( vm 1 : o I t Lois Jean Richens Lois Jean Richens, born on Sept. 20, 1924, age 79, of Vemal was reunited in heaven with her loving lov-ing husband, Melvin and their three children: son, Floyd Duane Richens, daughters, Sharon Louise Richens and Donna Arlene Richens on August 13, 2004. She peacefully peace-fully passed away at the Uintah Care Center. She was a lifetime resident of Vemal. All her life she enjoyed the company of her family, fam-ily, the outdoors, hunting, trapping, fishing and camping. She loved to go to sheep camps and to draw and crochet gifts for her family and friends. She made each family fam-ily member a quilt. In her younger years she cooked for the miners and cleaned homes to make a living. liv-ing. She devoted her life to loving lov-ing and caring for her family. She did all her cooking and canning on a woodstove until 2003, when her health worsened from diabetes. She had a heart of gold, she never turned anyone away, and she loved life. She will be greatly missed by all the lives that she has touched. She is survived by two sons: Marvin Gene Richens, Leon (Alice) 1 ' Shirley Beynon Workman Shirley Beynon Shirley Beynon Workman, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004 from complications of a stroke. 1 She was born July 27, 1931 at Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Charles H. and Effie May Peck Beynon. She married Carlyle D. Workman July 23, 1949. They ,., were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a temple worker for over 30 years along with her many other callings. She served a mission to Houston, Texas with her husband in 1991. Survivors include: her husband, Carlyle, Payson; six children, Adrienne Elizabeth Hall Leishman : Adrienne Elizabeth Hall Leishman, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2004. Adrienne was born on May 1 1 , 1979 to Clark M. and Candace Fletcher Hall of Vernal, Utah. She is the cherished wife of Adam Goold Leishman of West Jordan, Utah. Adam and Adrienne were sealed for time and all eternity on June 20, 2003 in the Vernal Temple. During high school Adrienne participated par-ticipated in drill team as a manager, man-ager, honor society, yearbook staff, and the FBLA. She attended BYU and graduated from USU with hon- ! ors, with her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Adrienne started her career working as a kindergarten kin-dergarten teacher. She was a member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held call- . ings as a Sunday School teacher, .' Relief Society member, Primary ,; . teacher, visiting teacher and Young t Women's personal progress leader. Adrienne loved animals and loved to decorate. She enjoyed- books, cooking, plants and gardening. Adrienne had an excellent eye for , beauty and style. She enjoyed trav- eling and has been to many places ' including Florida and Europe.
