' Gary Merrill Peterson and Merrill marry at Heritage Gardens Christina Dawn Peterson and Gary Marriner Merrill will be married mar-ried at the Heritage Gardens in Sandy on July 7. The bride is the daughter of John Russell and Esther Peterson of Vernal. She is a 1995 graduate of Uintah High School, attended University of Utah and is currently employed at G.E. Capital. 73T3T 2 a v j 1 Rising Star Riders royalty: 9-11 princess Leslie Hadden, queen Hillary Searle, 8 and under princess Ashley Richins. Rising Star royalty chosen by Marsha Searle Rising Star Riders, which is a local lo-cal family riding club, had its royalty royal-ty try-outs on May 25. The girls were judged on cleanliness and attire, at-tire, grooming and care of the horse, horsemanship, and interviews. The winner of the queen division is Hillary Ann Searle, daughter of Marsha Searle. Searle's horse is named "Trigger" and is owned by Leonard Heeney. Searle is in the 9th grade and has ridden horses all her life. Besides putting a lot of time into in-to her horse, some of Searle's other interests are dance, soccer, singing, fishing with her brothers and skiing. The winner of the 9-11 princess division is Leslie Jean Hadden, daughter of Tom and Laura Hadden. Hadden's horse is named "Sheba's Easy Rocket." Hadden is in the 6th grade and she, too, has ridden horses hors-es most of her life. She enjoys a va 'ootLZHumas. The winner of the 8 and under princess division is Ashley Marie Richins, daughter of Steve and Terri Richins. Richins' horse is named "Velvet." Richins is in first grade. Like the other girls, she has ridden for a number of years. Some of Richens' other interests are bicycling, bicy-cling, piano and swimming. The judges were Devin Long, Tosha Heng, Nita Slaugh, and the remaining participants. There was a large turn out, and it was stiff competition com-petition for the girls. They had to work hard and be very dedicated to earn their crowns. The Rising Star Riders is hosting the National O-MOK-SEE starting July 26 at the Western Park. This is a week long horse show which consists con-sists of pattern horse racing with seven different divisions. She graduated in 1994 from Uintah High School, and is currently employed em-ployed at Ashley Valley Medical Center and Gold Cross Ambulance. A reception will be held at the Migliori residence at 1022 S. 500 W. in Vernal, on July 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The couple plans to make their home in Layton. Tri County immunizations purchase the savings bonds which were given away to two children, one in Uintah County and one in Duchesne County, who received immunizations before April 19 and April 30 at any TCHD office. During the campaign, 110 children received immunizations. Of that total, to-tal, 70 children brought all their immunizations im-munizations up to date. Dillion Ping from Tridell received a $100 savings sav-ings bond as well.
