Pye Sports Writer The combined Uintah High School swimming and diving team heads into 1996 with a glossy 8-2 record and number five ranking in both boy's and girl's 3A polls. The question which lingers on the minds of those in the program is; how much distance is there between the Utcs and top ranked Park City? That question will be answered this Saturday when the Miners make their only appearance in Vernal with a duo confrontation. "Park City is the class of our division divi-sion without a doubt," head coach Kathy Worthcn said, "we'll find out by how much Saturday. Warmups will begin at 9:30 a.m. with swimming swim-ming beginning at 10. The Utcs have had several members mem-bers achieve personal bests andor new school records this year. One such member who was neglected in the last swim article was James Morton who won the 50 free at the prestigious Tooele Invitational.
