Mrs. Byron Tolman is recovering from major surgery. She is reported as doing well. Mrs. John Snow has returned from Salt Lake City where she was a patient in the hospital for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ruppe and son, Cal, motored to California last week where Cal received tests at Stanford University Hospital. They returned Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Edrington and two children have moved into our community com-munity from Vernal. Mrs. Edrington, Lory, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fran Peterson. A baby shower was held for Mrs. Donnett Kent. About 20 people were present and were anxious to see her new baby daughter, Holly Dale, who was born on Oct. 8. Donnett now lives near Dinosaur, Colo., but had lived in our community before moving there. Laura Chew hosted a baby shower for her daughter, lie nee, and new son Justin. Some of Mrs. Chew's friends and Ftence'i friends gathered for a nice evening.
