Show TEN PIN TAPS by Al Ablett The handicap bowling tournament tourna-ment for Gemmell Club members mem-bers started last Monday night with 40 entries shooting. In this tournament the men will have to watch for their laurels because be-cause some of the women bowlers bowl-ers are coming fast. Here is a list of the top ten. Ned Chestnut with 829 leads the list. Next in order are Russell Boren 825, Al Ablett 798, Pep Borich 796, Nan Kallen 793, Max-ir.e Max-ir.e Carter 785, Mildred Tall 777, Micky Callisto 770, George Zdu-nich Zdu-nich 770 and John Kallen 769. So you can see how close this one is. There is two series to go and anything can happen in eight games. There will be special prizes for the women a first and second, sec-ond, providing she does not finish fin-ish in the first four in the over-, over-, all standing. O |
