Wolford were married on Aug. 4, 1956 in Little Rock, Ark. The couple met when Ernest was in the Air Force, stationed in Little Rock, and Mary had just graduated from St. Vincent's Nursing School. Today, the couple has three wonderful children and four fantastic grandchildren. One of their daughters, Julie Bernhard, is a Park City resident. The Pruitts celebrated their 50th anniversary with a romantic trip to Berkley Springs, W.V. They will continue the celebration with a family gathering in Baltimore, Md. Charcoal is produced by the burning of wood in the absence of oxygen. His son Jacob (better known as Jake) had the job of hauling the charcoal for use in the blacksmith forges of the Ontario, Daly and other Park City mines.
