Show Winter Boredom Busters I By Linda Jager Living in Park City we're often blessed with too much of a good thing - snow\ And while many parents are anxious to stretch out the ski season into early spring, our children may not always share in the same enthusiasm for downhill fun. Next time your youngster begs for a fun diversion other than skiing - consider these snow-free suggestions that follow. Just Add Water While there may be snow on the ground outside, pretend it's summer inside with a visit to one of two local indoor recreational pools. Park City's Silver Mountain Sports Club & Spa is a popular destination for local families seeking fun in the swimming dome. The Club's recreational pool - conveniently covered by a cozy dome during colder months - features a winding waterslide, lazy river and plenty of shallow water for little swimmers to splash. The state-of-the-art indoor pool complex features a towering spiral watersiide, lazy river, splash pool, bubble couch, and a play feature with multiple squirting devices that are all accessible in water that is no more than 3.5 feet in depth.
