Show Up With Kids in vites all communities to meet Mark Twain The Up with Kids Children's Theatre Co. is extending an invitation invita-tion to all the children of the community, com-munity, along with their parents, to enjoy a free sno-cone and meet Mark Twain Thursday, June 13, 7 p.m. at the Servus Drug Meeting Hall, 55 N. Main, Bountiful. Listen and laugh as Mr. Twain (portrayed by actor Kyle Pehrson) shares some of his own favorite writings. No admission will be charged. Up with Kids, a fine arts academy acad-emy for children, will be producing the play Tom Sawyer," one of Twain s best-loved works, this summer. Enrollment is now open for all children ages 3-14 who may be interested in this summer adventure adven-ture with the arts. Classes are taught in Bountiful and Kaysville. Up with Kids is a non-profit cor-. cor-. poration dedicated to enriching children's lives through positive experiences with the arts. The curriculum cur-riculum is based on the works of the great masters of music, art, theater, literature and dance. Up with Kids students experience their cultural heritage through a variety of age-appropriate activities: ac-tivities: singing, dancing, plays, pantomime, and the oral interpretation interpreta-tion of literature. There are no auditions; audi-tions; everyone enrolled in the school receives fun singing, dancing, danc-ing, and acting parts in each show, three shows a year.
