Show Vernon Gras M Vernon Gras, 68, passed away June 3, 1991 in Laramie, Wyo., from injuries in-juries sustained in an antnmnhile accident. He was born July 12, 1922 in Rock Springs, Wyo., the son of Raymond and Anne Karppi Gras. He married Ruth Evelyn Williams Dec. 30, 1946 in Denver, Colo. He graduated from Rock Springs t V ( f ' i High School and also Colorado School of Mines. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Alpha Tau Omega at Colorado School of Mines. He was a baptized member of the Lutheran Church; belonged to the Order of the Elks. He was in the Army Air Corps during World War II, stationed in England. He was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. He is survived by his wife of Bountiful; Boun-tiful; one son, two daughters: Steven Gras, Milwaukee, Wis.; Deborah Jenkins, Erie, Colo.; Carolyn Beck, Ormond Beach, Fla. ; 1 2 grandchildren; grand-children; one great-granddaughter. Also survived by his mother of Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Funeral services were held June 1 1 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary with the Rev. Karl Kruse, Pastor of the Elim Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in the Bountiful City Cemetery, where military honors were accorded. |
