Show June 12, WEDNESDAY In conjunction with the Gina Bachauer Concert Festival, the Temple Square Concert Series will present one of Japan's most famous pianists, Hiroko Nakamura. Nakamura has given more than three thousand concerts around the world, averaging over one hundred per year. She will present an evening of musical pieces by Frederic Chopin. The concert will be held in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. June 13 THURSDAY The Up With Kids Theatre Co. will present an evening with Mark Twain 7 p.m. at the Servus Drug meeting hall, 55 N. Main, Bountiful. Mark Twain (Kyle Pehrson) will share some favorite writings. No admission admis-sion charge. Walter Hautzig will perform in conjunction with the Gina Bachauer Concert Festival. The evening will include various works by Mozart, Brahms, Godowsky and Friedman. Hautzig has performed in more than 50 countries around the world. His current season includes concerts in the U.S., Great Britain, Spain, the Philippines and his 12th tour of Japan. June 14, FRIDAY "The Farley Family Reunion' will be performed at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6351 S. 900 E., Salt Lake City, 8 p.m. $2 discount for visitors of non-metropolitan towns. June 15, SATURDAY The year-long Mozart concert series, on Temple Square at the Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m., will resume this evening with six Mozart piano concertos featuring Lenora Neal-Brown, Laura Neal, Heather Neal, Irene Peery, Christy Peery and Mark Hansen. The piano concertos will be accompanied ac-companied by the Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra with Kirk Muspratt conducting. Lenora Neal-Brown has performed extensively in the United States as well as throughout the Far East. She is presently an adjunct associate professor or piano at the University of Utah. Laura Neal has completed her senior year at Woods Cross High School, where she received the Sterling Scholar in music and was chosen Grand Talent Winner. Heather Neal is a ninth-grade student at South Davis Junior High where she was chosen "Outstanding Student." They will perform Mozart's Concerto for three pianos in F Major, K.242. Federal Women's Club will hold its June luncheon at Pardner's, 373 31st Street, Ogden, 12:30 p.m. "The Farley Family Reunion" at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6351 S. 900 E., Salt Lake City, 8 p.m. "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Anderson, City Rep's Jester Stage, 148 S. Main, SLC, 532-6000, 7:30 p.m. June 16, SUNDAY Edward Ashton will direct the Rocky Mountain Youth Camerata in an evening of string chamber orchestra to include musical selections from Telemann, Pagan in i, Geshwin and Copland, presented by Temple Square Concert Series, Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. "The Prince of Peace," a New Testament Drama" at City Rep, 148 S. Main, SLC, 532-6000, 7:30 p.m.. Admission is free, small charge for advanced ad-vanced reservations.
