Show Fire caution r FARMINGTON The danger of wildland fires in Utah is very high this summer, according to State Forester Richard Klason. The threat to life and property is very real. Timber in high elevations is still suffering from five years of drought. And foot grasses stimulated by spring rains could fuel dangerous brush fires in June and July. Please be extremely careful with campfires, cigarettes and fireworks-- fireworks-- always put your safety first when you visit Utah's beautiful out-of-doors. |
