Show Rex Webster Flint KAYSVILLE Rex Webster Flint, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 1991 at his home. He was born Oct. 18, 1922 in Kaysville, a son of Ben and Bessie M. Webster Flint. Married Erma Thompson May of 1946, in Elko, Nev. She passed away Dec. 9, 1971. Married Norma John, July 20, 1973 in Evanston, Wyo. She passed away Aug. 9, 1978. He was a lifelong resident of Kaysville, attended Kaysville public pub-lic schools and graduated from Davis High School. Member of the LDS Church. Retired from Hill Air Force Base after working as a foreman over aircraft air-craft maintenance. He was a member of the American Legion. His artistic talent was amazingly varied from the Indian Totem Pole which he carved, to the Japanese style backyard, to the numerous wood carvings he did. His talents with flowers were well known for great creativity and expressionism. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Michael B. and wife Jeannine Flint, Layton; Sandra Duncan, Ankara, Turkey; two stepchildren, step-children, Lisa Stevenson, Layton; Thomas John, Idaho; 11 grand-chidlren; grand-chidlren; one brother and two sisters, Van Flint and Faye Johnson, both of Kaysville; Fern Bennett, Preston, Idaho. Preceded in death by one son, Scott R. Flint. Funeral services were held March Mar-ch 25, at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. |
