Dr. Smith and Mr. Rich ins, who did a terrific job in Mr. Hawkins' absence. A big round of applause, please. Elections. Yes, it's that time already. Petitions for the elected student body offices will be available this week. Campaigning starts next week. Best wishes to everyone running I Cheerleaders. Yep, it's that time too. Cheerleading clinics have been going on for weeks and will culminate in the final assembly on Friday. Again, best wishes are extended ex-tended to the hopefuls. Cat iSSt :CharlPJ r Drama. This word conjures up an image of talented people competing at Region drama. The first leg of Region will be Wednesday and the second part will be next Tuesday. WX has held the Region title for the last seven years and hopes to make it an even eight. Break a leg, drama 'Cats! Finalists. At this word, three names come to mind. Danny Flores, . Leslie Grubbs and Kim Woodbury. They are State Finalists in the Sterling Sterl-ing Scholar competition. Danny for General Scholarships, Leslie for Home Economics and Kim for Speech and Drama. They will enter final judging on April 3 and will be featured on the KSL television program pro-gram on April 10. Congratulations and good luck! Next word-girls. No, not that. Girls State! The 1991 delegates to Utah Girls State from WX have been chosen. They are Caralyn Amett, Amy Belliston, Monica Mi 11 ward and Kelly Welker. Kudos to these incredible women! Sports. Spring sports, to be exact! Even though there is so much going on, try to find time to support our wonderful Wildcat athletes. Kevin. Kevin Bement, the Wildcat of the Week! Kevin's favorite thing about WX is the women and his favorite class is English with Miss Burrows. When he's not working at the Red Flame, Kevin enjoys hanging out with his friends.
