Show Jennie Pearce Sorensen Jennie Pearce Sorensen, age y4, passed away March 1, at Humana Davis North Hospital, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. She was bom Sept. 24, 1896 to Charles Rodwell Pearce and Agnes Hogensen Pearce in Montpelier, Idaho. She married Clarence Ruben Sorensen, Nov. 7, i 1916 in the Salt i Lake LDS Tern- j pie. He preceded ' r ' , j . l r during World War JJ and later was a summer employee at Lagoon. She is survived by two sons, five daughters-in-law, and one son-in-law. Norma Gwen Vance, Salt Lake City; Hazel S. Werner, Pinedale, Wyo.; Rodney Pearce Sorensen and wife Norma, Bountiful; Bernice Stevenson, Steven-son, Layton; Frank Pearce Sorensen and wife Cheryl, Farmington; Beverly Bev-erly J. Stenberg and husband William V. (Bill), Los Banos, Calif.; Ann Marie Moss, Salt Lake City; 27 grandchildren, 63 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, 15 great-greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Miss Nettie Pearce, Ruth She I ton and Norman Pearce. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held March Mar-ch 5, at 11:00 a.m. in the Steed Creek chapel, Farmington. Family and friends may call at the church at 9:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. her in death on July 14, 1978. She had a wonderful talent for sewing sew-ing and crocheting and left many beautiful mementos of her work with her children and grandchildren-She grandchildren-She was an active member of the LDS Church in Farmington and held many positions in the various organizations. She and her husband served two terms as stake missionaries mis-sionaries at Cherry Hill, Kaysville. She served as captain of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
