Show Karl Crandall CENTERVILLE Karl Kent Crandall, age 86, died Jan. 3, 1991 at Lakcview Hospital in Bountiful, of causes incident to his age. He was bora Oct 23, 1904 in Springville, to Myron E. A member of the LDS Church throughout his life, he fulfilled a variety of teaching and leadership positions, most recently as a high priest in the Centerville 13th Ward. He enjoyed golf, auto mechanics, drawing house plans and solving chess and crossword puzzles. His grandchildren and greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren will miss his quick wit. He is survived by his wife, Vesta; three children, John K. (Ruby) Crandall, Cran-dall, Bountiful; Ann Winn, Bountiful; Richard K. Crandall, Salt Lake; brothers and sisters, M. Maeser Crandall, Cran-dall, Albuquerque, N.M; Gordon E. (Josephine) Crandall, Salt Lake; Anna Warner, Salt Lake; Sterling M. (Zenda) Crandall, Provo; and Lowell W. (Beth) Crandall, Bountiful. Starting as a junior clerk for the old Utah Oil Refining Company Com-pany (UTOCO) in Salt Lake during the early depression, he retired 39 years later as a senior-level marketing executive for American Oil still working in the same building.
