A biography and tribute was read and gifts presented to her from the company. The lesson was then given which detailed the lives of three women in the first company of pioneers. Irene Olsen also displayed an old but beautiful dresser set and gave a brief history on it. Ruth Bentley, hostess chairman, gave the museum history on Christmas canes of long ago. Liz Berkholz, a member of the Haight's Creek Camp, accepted the position of chaplain on the board. This recently formed camp is now under the jurisdiction of the Davis Farmington Company. |
