She was bora April 23, 1917 in The Hague, Netherlands , daughter of Peter and Angenita M. Wolfensperger piender. She married Henri Vanderbeek Sept. 11, 1935 in The Hague, Netherlands, Nether-lands, later r mBUm s "- r L r i Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Sept. 11, 1975. He died Sept. 15, 1991. The family immigrated to America in 1950. Served as a Primary president and as a Relief Society worker. She had a great ;love for music, and gardening. -Maria was devoted to her husband and to her children. She filled her "life with selfless service for the elderly eld-erly and for her friends. She is survived by her daughter and sons, Angenita and Dixon Ford, Farmington; Harry and Connie, ' Sandy; Fritz and Tove, Magna; Hans and Jody, Ogden; 15 grandchildren grand-children and five greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Germanianus Diender, Arie Swen-' Swen-' son, Tinus M. Diender, Wimelrnina Diender, Petronella Palache-Diender, Palache-Diender, Aafke Vis-Diender, Meindert J. Diender, Peter Diender, Jan W. Diender. -" She was preceded in death by her "husband, two sisters, Johanna Palache-Diender and Angenita Schouten-Diender, a grandson John f Scott Vanderbeek. FiTieral services will be held Wednesday, June 10 at 11 a.m. in the North Point 1st LDS Ward, 1460 N. Morton Drive.
