Show Dr. Richard J. White named Utah's Veterinarian of the Year member of the State Board of Examiners, Ex-aminers, helping to preserve excellence and competence in the profession of Veterinary Medicine in the state of Utah. White has been named Veterinarian of the Year by the UVMA (Utah Veterinary Medical Association). Dr. White was noted for his professionalism, profes-sionalism, his support of fellow veterinary vet-erinary associates and pursuit " of excellence. - "-. Utah's 1989 yeterinariap of the 'year was born Jan. 19, 1938 in Winneniuca, Nev. He grew1 up in Farmington and spent most of his life in Davis County. Dr. White graduated from Davis High and then attended" USU for two years" , before he served an LDS mission to ' the Southern States. He returned home and finished his bachelor's degree in 1960. - He married Joyce-Robihson from Pleasant Grove. Dr. and Mrs. White Tnoved to Pullman, Washington to enroll at the College of Veterinary r- Medicine.
