Show - Local teams tied : after second week of girls' soccer By TOM IIARALDSEN Sports Editor Girls' high school soccer is underway in a big way in south . Davis County this year, and after Monday night action, all three local ' teams are M in league play. ' Woods Cross used a strong se-' se-' . cond half to defeat Viewmont 3-1. The Wildcats led 1-0 at halftime, . and finally pulled away with two late goals. Viewmont got its only goal on a penalty kick in the final two minutes. ' . Scoring for Woods Cross were Mindy Kirkham, Cami Lawrence and Bridgett Fifield. Viewmont'S goal came from Heidi Gloshen. Bountiful routed Granite 9-0, as ,. the Braves got two goals each from i Alicia Hassett, Cody Poole and ., Dkmne Passey. Also scoring single , goals for the Lady Braves were Lee Hogan, Kami King and Karen Van Horn. In the other game Monday -night, East and Judge' Memorial played to a scoreless tie. - Last week. Judge beat Woods -. Cross and Viewmont defeated Bountiful 6-0, while EasteatGran- s ite.
