The council reaffirmed its position posi-tion to upgrade emergency medical services and to advise the county emergency medical services committee com-mittee and the county commission that neither has the authority to control con-trol Bountiful's services to the public. pub-lic. The council also maintains that the county does not have the authority au-thority to retroactively deny a grant previously approved. In a related matter, the council voted to continue dispatching emergency vehicles "as they see fit," regardless of the procedures adopted by the county and other communities. In other council action, an agreement was made with owners of the Palmer property over easement ease-ment rights along MiQ Creek for the length of the property; the city will clean and prepare for sale a lot of city-owned property at 1850 South 800 East previously planned for a storm drain basin; and accepted a low bid of $17389 for Silver Leaf Landscaping to landscape about 2,000 feet of the Brown Subdivision along Bountiful Boulevard. |
