By KAREN WILCOX :' Raw egg eating contest, pie eat-1 ing contest, King Rino, Anyone? ; Well, it's all part of Clearfield High's Oub Week, held March i 6-10. It's a week for the clubs to show off any awards they have ' Son, demonstrate their unique tal-; . its and to help recruit new inem-f bers for the following year. ;" ; Starting on Monday, March 6, each club was assigned to decorate a halL in their own style. This was . 'to show off their club and school spirit Also during both lunches,' there was a raw egg eating contest between all the clubs. Yuck! Any- wayrtxr Tuesday, March 7r there was a pie eating contest during the, lunches. Now we're sounding better! bet-ter! On Wednesday, the clubs will have a chance to boast about their t awards and achievements. Displays and demonstrations will be held all day in our world-famous Commons Area. Thursday is a Carnival of Clubs, where each one will set up its own booth and a prize will go to the most participation and best carnival car-nival booth. And finally, on Friday, mere will be a King Rino contest, during lunch, and after school Club Olympics will be held. Also, during the day on Friday, we will have our club assembly. Each club willing, will perform a skit or some other kind of entertainment enter-tainment For the Drama Club, Jazz Group, and Dance Company, this will be easy, but it will be quite interesting in-teresting what our, Business and Marketing Clubs will do. , ' . , And as for calendar for this week, : our band will perform their Spring Concert on Thursday, March 16 at 7 |
