Show To be honored Sr- Kit fS ' 4 1 'I " ' i - :- ' - v - , V2 Harold J. Christensen of North ' Salt Lake will be honored in recogv nition of his 80th birthday at a family fa-mily dinner. V V Harold was born in Hobro, Denmark Den-mark on Jan. 29, 1909, the eighth of ' nine children.- He came to the '' United States at the age of three and settled with his family in Moroni. On Dec. 10, 1934 he married Ina Hansen of Fountain Green. First ; they lived in Garfield and then later moved to North Salt Lake in 1936 ..where he has resided ever since. Ina passed away May 7, 1982. On June 9, 1984 Harold married Gertrude Cloward of North Salt Lake. " Harold was employed at the Garfield Gar-field Smelter for 38 years ' with American Smelting and Refining Company, then with Kennecott Copper when the plant changed ownership. He retired in 1973. Throughout the years, he has been involved in several side occupations . such as shearing sheep, growing peaches, and raising mink. " With Harold's marriage to Ina, they had three sons and one daughter. They are Jack of North Salt Lake; son Gayle, who married Lani Harrison; and Roger, who married Judy "Peterson, 1oth"of Centerville; and daughter Carol; who married Robert Siebers,' of Blackfoot, Ida.
