Show HEALTH NEWS According to the weekly bulletin bul-letin of the state department of health, a total of 226 new cases' of communicable diseases were reported in the state for the week ending July 15. Mumps continued to lead the list with a total of 75 new cases. Strep infections was second with 45 and measles was third with 41. ! The following is a list of all dis eases reported for the week: cancer, can-cer, 2; chicken pox, 25; poliomyelitis, poliomye-litis, 4; measles, 41; mumps, 75; strep infections, 45; tuberculosis, 3; whooping cough, 13 gonorrhea, 2; syphilis, 10; gastro enteritis, 5; meningitis, epid., 1. |
