English majors and minors who will be at the University next year can pick up applications this week in OSH 314 F between 11 and 1 p.m. BOLSHOI BOOK SALE: In the University Library, Marriott Auditorium Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Honorable John H.Chaffee Secretary of the Navy, will make his scheduled visit to Salt Lake City April 12 even though his resignation has been accepted by the White House. Chaffee will specifically be explaining the requirements under the all volunteer force concept. He is scheduled to meet with NROTC at 2:30 p.m., KUED press conference at 3 p.m., and a student rap session at the KUED studio at 3:30 p.m. On Tuesday, April 18 there will be a public hearing on the Draft Environmental Statement for the Proposed China Meadows Dam and Reservoir. The hearing will be held at 2 p.m. in the Little Theater at the Salt Palace. For additional information contact David C.
