On the freshman level, after 5 games, Bernard Tomlin, as always, is the leading scorer with an average of 34.8 points per game. At guard he scored his high of 49 points against Western Wyoming. Behind Tomlin is Ted Madsen, guard, who averages 12.5 points per game. Dean Porter, at forward, for-ward, follows close behind Madsen with an average of 11.6.
