Show Summer appointments New faces, and old faces in new places, will be the result of several adminstrative and faculty appointments ap-pointments made by Institutional Council this summer. In June, appointments included J. dark Whitehead as director of personnel; Roger j. Tray nor as visiting professor of law; Dr. Dale G Johnson, associate professor of surgery; Dr. Howard A. Matthews, professor of management; and Dr Calvin H. Wilcox, professor of mathematics. Those resigning were Dr. Kenneth B. Castleton, vice president for medical affairs, and associate academic vice president pres-ident Charles H. Monson (who returned to full-time teaching in the philosophy department). James' L. Sanderson left his post as financial aids director and Dr. Ernest L. Poulsen moved from personnel director to associate director dir-ector of the University Research Park. July appointments Seven appointments were made at the July meeting of the Institutional Institu-tional Council. Dr. John Robert Stewart became professor of radiology rad-iology and Dr. Harold B. Anstall became professor of pathology. Dr. Lennox Tierney is the new associate dean for the College of Fine Arts, and a professor of art and history, while Blaine A. Huntsman Hunt-sman was named director of the Bureau of Economic and Business Research. Other appointments were Mexican-American student advisor, Michael Melendez; Harold R. Weight as director of financial aids; and Thomas H. King as Indian student advisor. Penner, assistant professor of home economics; Dr. L. Dale Harris as computer center director, direc-tor, to return to full-time work as an electrical engineering professor; Dr. Richard C. Auerbach, instructor instruc-tor in radiology; Dr. Nathaniel M. Nord, neurology instructor; Dr. Lawrence E. Stevens, associate professor of surgery; and Dr. J. Neal Weakly, assistant research professor of physiology and assistant assis-tant professor of pharmacology in biopharmaceutical sciences. All resignations re-signations are already effective.
