Show 'Husbands': Movie on life, death, freedc- i BY GAYLAN NIELSON Chronicle Staff A movie about life, death and freedom. That is how the movie "Husbands," written and directed by John Cassavettes, is introduced. intro-duced. "Husbands" stars Ben Ga-zarra Ga-zarra as Harry, John Cassavettes as Gus and Peter Falk as Archie. The movie is about these three buddies who, at the death of Stewart, the other of their once great foursome, four-some, decide to break away for a few days. The atmosphere of their nonsensical nonsens-ical spree is trying hard to introduce intro-duce the sense of freedom that is to be thematic in the movie. The first night of their escapade the three men get with a bunch of people to get drunk. The three get terribly drunk and even more sick; this at places was a scene of careful impact.
