When will the University join our cause and provide secure bike racks for us? C. Thomas The University is taking immediate action for you peddle-pushers. peddle-pushers. Bike racks should be in stalled late this quarter or by mid-summer. The University is presently negotiating with the concrete company to provide the more secure bike racks that might fit into the campus planning dynamic. There is an apparent need for upwards of 500 of these bicycle racks on campus. Suggestions Sug-gestions for placement would be welcomed by traffic engineer, Emmett Quinn. Tired of sprinting I am tired of sprinting from the east building in the P.E. complex to the north building just to use the john. It is exceptionally poor planning that there is no facility for women in the east building; no dressing room, no restroom. Many of us women use the weight training train-ing rooms and paddle ball courts. Couldn't this poor planning be corrected? E. Stanford Dean O. N. Hunter, HPER, told Action Line that in the original plans for the east building, women's dressing rooms and rest-rooms rest-rooms were included. However, the architect decided that women wouldn't be using these facilities, and eliminated them. Obviously, he is wrong. Dean Hunter will take immediate action to post signs indicating the availability of facilities for women and further steps will be taken this quarter to convert one of the several men's dressing rooms in the east building to use for the ladies.
