Show Union Movies announces... complete Park Place series partner, Jerry Handerson, the team of Tom and Jerry, also known as the Dead End Kids, is nominated for "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. Known for his stage portrayal in the play, "On the Right Hand of God," Weary Sorensen is another candidate this year for a cameo part in "Little Big Man." Dead Davis, type cast as a financial wizard, may walk off with an award for "Scrooge." Davis is an Emmy winner for "It Takes a Thief." Elizabeth Hag of "My Fair Lady" fame said the association would make a late nomination for Clarence Seeder's touching scree-play scree-play on registration, "Charade." Also in the screenplay category is Emmett Quint's daring work on parking, "The Great Race." For special effects the campus cops, holsters on their hips, are named for "Wait until Dark." Bad Jock, director of the Tabernacle East, is on the list for "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break," while Jack Garden makes the grade for his direction of "Little Foxes." Jock will be remembered re-membered for turning down a part in "Born Yesterday." An unusual situation also centers cen-ters around this year's awards. Tom and Jerry, the dynamic duo, join John Nixon in hoping to cop honors with "Three Stooges." Administration nominees outnumber out-number the students this year (as their votes always do), but there are a few nominations for outstanding out-standing performances by the underlings. Grover Leaf, UASS president, and Nodd Hayes, his veep, make it for "The Glory Guys." The academy will also give two special awards this year. For a unique acting feat, Harassed Vicent will be honored for his starring role in "Tom Thumg." The University Food Service employes will receive life-time passes to the Annex Snack Bar for "Duck Soup" and "With Six You Get Eggroll." HOLLYWOOD-Rumor has it that Dred Emery, University actor president, would not accept an oscar for his role in the upcoming film version of the "Kingdom and the Power." The acting university leader was reached for comment at a meeting of Puke Council, affectionately known as Emery Bored. Speaking in true presidential form, Emery, his hair slipping down over his nose, said, "Let me say this about that. I want to make one thing perfectly clear. In the event that I should win the award I will decide at that bridge how to cross it. Of course, I am not leaving out the possibility that I won't accept it. I have a plan to get me out." Kilroy Jones, mentioned as a possibility to play the "Godfather," "God-father," said Provost Tommy Gunn Sovereign, who last year won the honor for "Getting (But Not Speaking) Straight," would attend the Awards Banquest.
