ASUU studentbody president, vice president, three beard members for Finance, Organizations, Public Affairs, Programs, Campus Affairs Af-fairs and Academic Affairs, and a senior class president. Also included on the ballot this year is a vote on the revised ASUU constitution. The new document docu-ment has an assembly body with representation from all the colleges col-leges elected from within each college. Six chairman of the existing exist-ing boards will be elected as will the studentbody president and the vice president. To file, a candidate must deposit $15 and pick up the election rules in the Student Activities Center. A meeting fcr all candidates is scheduled Thursday night. Explaining Ex-plaining the meeting, Miss Marchant Mar-chant said that it was mandatory for each candidate. Information about rules, speaking engagements engage-ments and advertising policies will be discussed, Miss Marchant said. Referring to the rules, Miss Marchant Mar-chant said, "they are cut and dried." She explained they were hard to violate unless "you did it on purpose," and that the rules were important to "protect the voter." Miss Marchant said Die rule allowing any number of pesters pest-ers is "messy and we could have done without it." Miss Marchant said that the candidates will have some speaking speak-ing engagements set up with the Greeks, Latter Day Saint Student Association and the dorms. The committee hasn't finalized specific dates yet, she said |
