Vance Packard Vance Packard, social critic, has written four best seller books-"The Hidden Persuaders," "The Status Seekers," "The Waste Makers," and the "The Sexual Wilderness." His books investigate the trends f modern society that affect the jidividual. He holds a master's degree from Columbia University in Journalism and spent five years as a newspaperman in Boston and New York. Hubert de Besche Hubert de Besche, Swedish ambassador to the United States, is directly connected with the creation of the European Free Trade Association. He has filled posts in London, Stockholm and the United States. As head of the Trade Department in Ministry for Foreign Affairs, he negotiated trade agreements for several countries. He entered the Swedish Foreign Service in 1936. WUliam F. Buckley, Jr. William Buckley, a conservative,, expounds his views in a nationally syndicated column and the National Review, which he publishes. He also has a television program, "Firing Line," seen every Sunday on KUED. His books include "God and Man at Yale," "Rumbles Left and Right," and "Up Front Liberalism." Larry King, in Harper's, referred to Buckley as "a swinging Old Fogy who has become a legend in his time." The Rev. William Glenesk "Christianity is a dramatic happening--an event for its participants to act out," says the Rev. Glenesk. He had "happening" services at the Spencer Memoral Church in New York. Paul Engle . An award-winning poet and educator, Paul Engle is the ' director of the Program for Internation Writing and founder of the University of Iowa's Creative Writing Program. He is a member of the Advisory ; Council for the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and on the National Council of Arts. The Rev. William Glenesk ... to speak on new morality 'Dr. Keith Reemtsma Dr. Keith Reemtsma, author and co-author of 70 scientific papers on surgical subjects, is professor and head of surgery at the University's College of Medicine. He holds the degree of Doctor of Medical Science from Columbia University and was professor of surgery at Tulane University, New Orleans, La. ' Alex Haley Alex Haley is the author of the as-told-to story "The Autobiography of Malcolm X" and "Before This Anger." He has interviewed the late Dr. Martin Luther King and the late George Lincoln Rockwell. Dr. Thomas Stockman Dr. Stockman is on the staff of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Lincoln Library where he is doing research on signal processing. He has received awards for teaching including the Goodwin Medal awarded for "conspicuoulsy effective teaching" while he was a teaching assistant at MIT and the Television Shares Management Award. Truman Madsen Dr. Madsen is the chairman of the Institute of Mormon Studies and professor of philosphy and religion - at Brigham Young University. He has been awarded the Karl B. Maeser Distinguished Teaching Award in 1967 and was named 3YU's Honors Professor of the year. Harley Parker Parker is a specialist in Communications Theories and has introduced new methods of communications. He acts as an educator, author, lecturer and artist on what he terms "the unknown environment." He collaborated with Marshall McLuhan to write the book "Through the Vanishing Point."
