Show o J Ballet West's spring opening-'Bravura' "Bravura", a new work by Ballet West's Artistic Director, Willam Christensen, will be introduced April 2 when the company presents its spring season in Kingsbury Hall. Designed as a showpiece for the principal dancers of Ballet West, successor to Utah Civic Ballet, "Bravura" is, according toUs choreographer, a "light dancey ballet with a sense of humor." The music is by Emmanuel Chabrier, a French Composer. "Because of his lack of thorough technical training he had to compensate with intense energy and compelling inspiration," Mr. Christensen explained. "We have captured, I hope, this same energy and inspiration in 'Bravura'." |
