Roberta Peters to sing Thursday in Kingsbury Roberta Peters, one of the most sought-after singers of the decade, will perform in Kingsbury Hall Thursday at 8:15 p.m. under auspices of the University Artists-Civic Music Association. Members of the University community are invited at special rates. Students with ID may purchase two tickets for just 50 cents each. Miss Peters made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 1950 as Zerlina in "Don Giovanni," wfc'.n r .. . i she was called upon to substitute for an ailing artist. Her career skyrocketed her to the top within five years. She has since starred in "Lucia di L a m m e r m o o r , ' ' ''Die Fledermaus," "Ariadne auf Naxos," "The Magic Flute," "The Marriage of Figaro," "Cosi fan Tutte" and many other Met productions.
