Show Judging By The Cover: 'Apology Due To Poneys7 nj;i v Editor: - Having just read the article on the Stone Poney's concert Saturday Satur-day night, I was appauled by Dave Rowland's lack of reporting ability. His candid comments along with his borrowed "quotes" led the person per-son who didn't attend the concert to think Lind Ronstadt was nothing but an untalented whore. The point wasn't how low a skirt she wore or her actions on stage but the music she put forth which I thought was excellent. In answer to Mr. Rowland's com ment about a hearing aid, let me say this. I met and talked with Linda Ronstadt Saturday afternoon for about 20 minutes and she didn't wear a hearing aid. The comments about the Holden Caulfield, an excellent group, were mostly directed towards how they looked rather than how they played I feel that Mr. Rowland owes the Holden Caulfield, Linda Ronstadt and the Stone Poneys and the studentbody stu-dentbody an apology for his farce of misrepresentation.
