Donald Eller, financial analyst for Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith will head the 9:55 a.m. meeting, discussing the impact of social strife on equity prices, the investment risks arising therefrom and the investment opportunities op-portunities that are created. Eller is a specialist in his field advising various institutions on investment matters, including policy strategy and specific purchase and sale recommendations. rec-ommendations. Speaking at 1:10 p.m. is Paul Ehlrich, Stanford biologist, who contends that the time of famines is upon us and will be at its worst and most disastrous state by 1975. He feels that the population of the U.S. is already too big, that birth control may have to be made involuntary in-voluntary by putting sterilizing agents into staple foods and drinking drink-ing water, and that the Roman Catholic Church should be press-" press-" ured into measures for population control. Rev. John P. Leary will address audiences at 8 p.m. His remarks will deal with theology and morality moral-ity on college campuses. He is the President of Gonzaga University. |
