Show Candidates Await Debate, Discussion All students are invited and encouraged en-couraged to attend these meetings. Rather than having different po-ling po-ling places on campus, all voting will be done in the Union Building where the recently acquired voting machines will be set up. Voting for the primaries will be held April 17 and 18. Following the primaries, the finalists will have several days to continue their campaigns cam-paigns prior to the final voting on April 24 and 25. Campaigning for studentbody officers of-ficers will get into full swing next week as candidates appear before student groups to present their views. Official campaigning will begin April 8. Each day at noon, discussions dis-cussions and debates will be held, allowing time for students to question ques-tion the candidates. Candidates for Organizations Board will start discussions Monday Mon-day at noon in the Alumni Lounge. Programs Board and Public Affairs Af-fairs Board candidates will also present their views in the Alumni Lounge on Tuesday and Wednesday, Wednes-day, respectively. On Thursday, the noon hour discussion dis-cussion will move to the student den to hear the Finance Board candidates and Friday back to the Alumni Lounge for the Student-Faculty Student-Faculty Board candidates. The noon hour discussions will climax on Monday, April 15, with the Presidential candidates debating debat-ing in the Union Ballroom. That meeting will be followed by an informal in-formal reception in the student den. |
