Five Gallon Shower Our showers are not quite comparable com-parable with our other comforts. Of Ashurst course, ours is much smaller than most of them: It sleeps about 12 men in homemade home-made bunk beds along the walls. The bottom beds are army cots and the upper beds are simply pieces of half inch plywood. These may not sound too comfortable, but after sleeping on the bumpy ground their advantages become obvious and appreciated. To make the bunks even more comfortable, the army has issued us air mattresses. Battery Powered Radios During the day while the gener-ater gener-ater is off, we have battery powered pow-ered radios, record players and tape recorders. In the late after- |
