Show Hinckley Offers 4 Internships ond Congressional District, Governor Gov-ernor Rampton, and the state chairmen of the Democratic and Republican parties in Utah. The seventh post this year is an unusual one, providing the person per-son to be appointed the opportunity oppor-tunity to view union in politics. This intern will serve on t h e executive staff of the Communications Communi-cations Workers of America (CWA) in their Washington, D.C. headquarters. The Hinckley Institute has arranged ar-ranged for full-time summer internships in-ternships for students interested in politics. Four of the posts in Washington, D.C. will carry $400 a month stipends and three of the posts in Salt Lake City will pay the recipients $300 a month. Application blanks for the competition com-petition are on Hinckley Institute Insti-tute posters on bulletin boards around the campus, and may be obtained in OSH 250-A. Application Applica-tion deadline is Monday. Students with 135 hours of University Uni-versity work behind them are eligible to apply. Those with industrial relations courses will be preferred for the Union-In-Politics internship. Nominations of three candidates for each will be based on scholastic aptitude, 50 per cent; relevant experience, 25 per cent; and personality and general aptitude, 25 per cent. Final Fi-nal selection from each group of three is made by the officer under whom the intern will serve. Cooperating offices include United States Senators WaUace F. Bennett and Frank E.
