Show Student Wins Full Aid The Medical College Committee Commit-tee on Scholarships, Awards and Loans has chosen Jerry Mars-den Mars-den as the committee's recipient of its four-year all expense scholarship schol-arship to the University College of Medicine. Marsden, named the New York Life Insurance Company Scholar, Schol-ar, wiU be financed by the Insurance In-surance Company. First in Intermountain Region The College of Medicine is one of 11 in the United States select ed to receive this scholarship. Marsden is the first student recipient re-cipient of this award in the Intermountain In-termountain Region. Marsden, who attended College Col-lege of Southern Utah from 1961 to 1963, completed his undergraduate under-graduate work with 3.99 g.p.a. From 1963 to 1965 he filled a mission for the LDS Church. He entered the University in September. Sep-tember. The scholarship covers tuition, books, housing, board and equipment equip-ment for four years of study. It can be renewed annually, depending de-pending on scholastic performance. perform-ance. Marsden is married, and graduated grad-uated from Cedar City High School with honors in 1961. |
