Show Directors to Conduct Auditions for 2 Plays Auditions for two University plays will be conducted Wednesday Wednes-day from 2 to 4 p.m. in Babcock Theatre, downstairs at Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The plays are "Wake Up, Old Man," by PMT Senior Director Robert Hyde Wilson and "The Caretaker," by Harold Pinter. For "Wake Up, Old Man," University students are needed as well as three mature character charac-ter players: a man, 56; and two women, 62 and 72. The cast for "The Caretaker," a play to be staged in Babcock Theatre, must be chosen from registered University students, said Director Ralph E. Margetts. Three male actors are required. "Wake Up, Old Man," was written by Wilson who will direct di-rect his own play on the theatre's the-atre's main stage. The play, commissioned by Pioneer Memorial Me-morial Theatre for the 1966-67 season, will play Jan. 19-28. "The Caretaker" will be staged Jan. 31 to Feb. 4. |
