Show Positions on Sports Center Com. Committees Solicit Student Applications Student appointments are now being made to the Sports and Special Events Center Student Faculty Committee according to Margaret Larson, Student Faculty Facul-ty Board chairman. The Events Center Committee will play an important role in the development of the Center and will set the policy governing the facility's use. "Due to the downtown furor over the construction of the center cen-ter the committee will be particularly par-ticularly important in the immediate im-mediate investigation and planning plan-ning of the complex," Larson said. The students will serve with members of the faculty and Board of Regents on the committee. commit-tee. Because of a resignation there is also an opening on the Student Faculty Relations Committee, she added. This group will be developing de-veloping the much needed course evaluation. Other student-faculty committees commit-tees that have student openings open-ings include Debate Council, Traffic Enforcement, Traffic Planning, Library Council, Scholarship Scho-larship Awards and Loans, Beehive Bee-hive selection and Peace Corps and Vista. Applications for all commit-i commit-i tees can be picked up in the : ASUU offices in 271 Union. They ; must be returned before 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 according to Miss Larson. |
