" u5t ; : Saddling up their horses and rounding up their favorite cow girls, members of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity will ride on out to Wayne Petty's barn for a Western party, Saturday at 8:30 p.m. WEARING real leather chaps and levi jackets, Sally Norton and Dick Rytting will climb the corral fence to watch the arriving ar-riving cowpokes. Traveling back about 100 years to the days of Jesse James and Wyatt Earp, the couples will probably forego square dancing in preference to more modern surfing. Avoiding bales of hay and all the farm animals, Bob Matlock and Me-linda Me-linda Black will make their way to the stomping ground. Climbing in the hayloft and petting the animals, the couples will begin to dance when Dave and the Deadbeats appear. Virginia Vir-ginia Reels and Skip to my Lou's will be replaced by watusis although al-though "ponies" will still be popular. TIRED from dancing, Wally Reichert and Lindy Burt will stop to listen to the "Wind River Riv-er Boys" play bluegrass music. Jeff Montague will listen while little brother Chris Montague performs with the group. With the moonlight shining through the slats in the barn and the desert breezes blowing lightly, the group will gather around the campfire to sing songs. After, Bill Smart a?id Karen Ericson |
