This is the final hurdle, next to the Board of Regents, Re-gents, the document has to jump before it goes into effect. THE Constitution has, during the past three weeks, successfully successful-ly passed the inspection and criticism cri-ticism of the Constitution Committee, Com-mittee, the Coordinating Council, Coun-cil, the Committee on Student Affairs, a sub-committee of the Deans' Council and the Executive Execu-tive Board of the Faculty Council. Coun-cil. In their joint meeting on Friday Fri-day of last week, the Faculty and Dean's Council reviewed the document and made a few mi nor stylistic changes that they felt cleared up some of the ambiguity am-biguity that might cause problems prob-lems in the future. SINCE there was no objection by either Council to the idea that this document become the permanent Constitution of the student body, if the revision passes both the student body referendum and the Board of Regents, it will be the permanent perma-nent law of the student body. There will be five polling stations sta-tions on campus for the Tuesday Tues-day referendum: Orson Spencer, the Library, the Business Building Build-ing the Residents' Hall and the Union. The Orson Spencer and Business polls will open at 8 a.m. and close at 1 p.m. The Library and Union polls will be opened at 8:30 a.m. and remain open until 3:30 p.m. The RHA poll will be opened from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. THE STUDENT body will vote on the following ballot: "Shall the Associated Students of the University of Utah adopt the reviscj ASUU Constitution, as approved by the Coordinating Council, Committee on Student Affairs, Faculty Council and Deans' Council." This will not be the only election that the student body will face during this month. TODAY election petitions will be made available at the ASUU Office for all those who are interested in-terested in running for a stu- dent body office. A $2 election fee must be made at the time of petitioning. The Elections Committee has planned the entire election for Spring Quarter on the assumption assump-tion that the Constitution will pass the student referendum and the Regents. FRIDAY, March 11, will be the last day for turning petitions into in-to the ASUU offices. No petition will be validated after this date.
