Show Charity Goals This year with a goal of $2000, the University hopes to send $750 to the World University Service. WORLD University Service, Serv-ice, since 1920, has been carrying on a program of mutual assistance among universities uni-versities of the world. Today, WUS has commutes commu-tes in 48 countries. University Univers-ity presidents, professors and students from these countries convened in July 1964 to study stu-dy the most urgent needs facing fac-ing the university and approved approv-ed of 60 projects in Aisa, Africa, Af-rica, and Latin America. STUDENT, faculty, and members of the academic community are asked to contribute con-tribute to make these projects possible. WSU increases the impact of your contributions by concentrating con-centrating on the following four categories of service: Student Health, food and lodging, educational facilities, and individual and emergency aid. EVERY NICKLE and dime you give is important. For example, ex-ample, $.25 will provide 3 meals a day at Fiorina College Col-lege in Greece; $7.00 will provide pro-vide one month's lodging in a WUS hotel in Korea; and $100.00 will send $2000 worth of drugs to a student health center in Asia. Adlai Stevenson said in a letter to WUS, "The accomplishments accomp-lishments of World University Service in almost forty-five years are immeasurable." |
